New Creative Talent Class: Giampiero Tagliaferri and Minotti

The Milanese interior and furniture designer is the future of design.

With bases in Milan and LA, multi-talented designer Giampiero Tagliaferri enjoys the fun of being in different places. The same can be said of his designs, which meld Italian ostentatiousness with Californian effortlessness. The result is something both nostalgic and modern – sleek shapes and textures filled with nostalgic references. A new collaboration is with Italian furniture brand Minotti, launched in 2024. His inaugural collection, unveiled at the 2024 Salone del Mobile, was a 70s-inspired masterclass on shapes and textures. In an offering that included a bed, armchair, storage units, coffee tables and outdoor furniture, the collection's highpoint was the Supermoon sofa, a modular seating structure whose low, rounded shape took inspiration from phases of the moon.
